Voxy teaches only one language, which is English, however it is designed to work for native speakers of any language. Additionally, we do translate some of our platform for added support in specific languages.
What do we translate and in which languages?
There are basically 5 levels of translation support:
Full Service
The full product (web and mobile versions) is fully translated, including the Help Center:
- English
- Latin American Spanish
- Brazilian Portuguese
Product Interface Translated
The entire web product is translated, except for the Help Center, and except for curriculum materials such as Courses, Units, Resources, and the Grammar Guide:
- Arabic
- Chinese (Mandarin)
- Japanese
- Malay
- Russian
- Turkish
- Vietnamese
- Korean
- French
- German
- Thai
The mobile interface is translated in the following languages:
- Vietnamese
- Thai
- Japanese
- Russian
- Korean
Product instructions
There are a few languages where activity instructions are translated, but any other parts of the product are NOT translated:
- Polish
- Italian
Google Translate
Even though we don't translate all languages, the product does offer access to a Google Translate widget in lessons to help students. The full list of languages supported by Google Translate is here.
If you see a language that is supported by Google, but not found in the Voxy product, please let us know and we can add it.
No support
Any other language that is NOT included in any of the lists above has zero translation support. Users with this native language will see exclusively English across Sales, Marketing and Product Materials.
